AYDN was founded by Sara Rivera and Ryan Shaer after spending years around dance, wellness, and product development.
Sara has spent more than 23 years in dance and holds a Master’s in Dance Education from Rutgers University. Through that experience, she saw firsthand how much time dancers spend in leotards and how important fit, comfort, and movement are in class.
Ryan’s background is in entrepreneurship, brand building, and product development, with a strong focus on health, quality, and attention to detail.
When we began developing AYDN, we wanted to create dancewear that met a higher standard. To help us get there, we worked with technical designers with experience on Project Runway and the New York City Ballet, an organic apparel consultant who helped build one of the largest organic cotton clothing brands in the U.S., and a dancewear expert with more than 20 years of retail experience.
Our goal is simple: better materials, better comfort, and dancewear designed with real dancers in mind.

This leotard is unbelievably soft—Oakleigh said it was so comfortable she could sleep in it! The IC fit her perfectly for her current height and size, while the MC also fit well with a little extra room to grow. The material feels amazing, moves beautifully with her, and is comfortable enough for hours of dancing.
The moment my daughter put this on she immediately noticed how soft the material was. She felt very comfortable and fit her so well. Can I suggest a navy blue? This would be perfect for her dance studio colors
We love this leotard. It’s so comfy - Iike a soft buttery cloud. The fit is excellent as well. I’d say TTS for my 8 year old.
The material is so soft and breathable, it fits my daughter like a glove and she LOVES the way it feels. I’m really happy giving my chile an organic material! 10/10!!!

Beautiful quality and so comfortable! I purchased this leotard for my niece, and she absolutely loves it! The fabric feels incredibly soft, the fit is comfortable and flattering, and the cap sleeves give it such a polished look. She can move freely during dance class without having to adjust it. Knowing it is safe for her skin makes this an unbeatable choice. The quality is excellent, and it has quickly become one of her favorites.

My daughter is very sensitive to certain fabrics and tags. She put on this leotard and immediately lit up with how comfortable it is!! And what a relief, as a mom, to not be concerned about microplastics and toxins as she sweats when dancing!!!
Could not be happier with this purchase for my daughter. I have been looking for a safer alternative to traditional leotards made with synthetic fabrics for my young dancer.
