AYDN was created by Sara Rivera and Ryan Shaer after years around dance, wellness, and product development — and one question kept coming up:
Why is so much children’s dancewear still made with synthetic fabrics, harsh dyes, and materials parents know so little about?
With Sara’s lifelong background in dance and Ryan’s focus on health, sustainability, and purposeful product development, AYDN was built with a clear point of view: children’s dancewear should be held to a higher standard.
For young dancers, dancewear sits directly on the skin through long classes, movement, sweat, and repetition. So what it is made from matters.
That is why AYDN was built differently.
Our first collection is made with GOTS certified organic cotton, OEKO-TEX® certified non-toxic dyes, and soft, breathable materials designed for studio comfort.
So parents can feel confident about what touches their child’s skin — and dancers can focus on class, not discomfort.
